What is Monoi de Tahiti?
To make Monoï de Tahiti, the unopened blossoms of Tiare flowers (Tahitian Gardenia) are handpicked and then soaked in warm coconut oil to extract the precious, floral aroma through a process called Enfleurage (flower soaking). Used in religious, cosmetic and medicinal ways, this intoxicating perfume oil features prominently in Tahitian culture. Recent regulations to preserve the quality of production requires a minimum of 15 tiare flowers to be used in every liter of refined coconut oil.
Snow mushroom extract, sometimes compared to Hyaluronic Acid for its water binding properties, easily penetrates the skin's layers, forming a protective film of moisture that transforms rough and itchy skin into plump, soft skin. Tropical Kokum and shea butters are rich in fatty acids that lock in moisture and increase softness and elasticity.

The Benefits
Snow Mushrooms (Tremella Mushroom) hold up to 500 times their weight in water and penetrate the skin more effectively than hyaluronic acid, providing deeper hydration and improved moisture retention
Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5) Provitamin B5 effectively moisturizes skin, restores the skin barrier and acts as a humectant, attracting and binding water to your skin
Argan Oil is generously supplied with Vitamin E, polyphenols, squalene and carotenes which protect the skin from environmental stressors
Kokum Butter is an excellent emollient butter which deeply moisturizes, softens, and protects the skin
Glycerine hydrates the outer layer of the skin, provided protection against skin irritants and relieves dry skin
Application
Can be used when desired to soften and moisturize the skin. For best results, apply a generous olive-sized amount, rub between palms cover both hands.

To maximize shelf life, store away from heat and direct sunlight both of which will degrade ingredients and can compromise product stability. Always use clean, dry hands to scoop out treatment cream.

How to use our Monoï de Tahiti Overnight Hand Treatment
The Ritual
1. Just before bed, after washing up, use clean hands to scoop out an olive-size amount of hand treatment
2. Gently work palms together distributing cream into nail beds, in between fingers and to wrists
3. For best results, after application, wear cotton gloves to bed to lock in moisture and keep lotion from rubbing off
This is my favourite hand treatment! I use it every night and wake up with lovely soft hands, even in the winter. It absorbs very well and the scent is divine!
