Sugar scrubs are often too liquid oily or too crumbly and dry. We formulated ours to be right in the middle, a scoop able, spreadable paste that emulsifies and turns creamy when it meets water.
Do not introduce water into jar as it can make the product spoil.
Heat and sunlight can compromise product stability. We recommend storing your scrub in a cool, dark area like a cupboard or drawer. If kept in your shower keep away from shower spray.

How to use our body scrubs
The Ritual
Use a scoop or clean dry hand. Spread the scrub onto desired area and then wet your palm under the shower stream and apply to the same spot, work firmly in circular motions especially on dry flaky areas.
Water turns the mixture lotion like and milky; less water will be more exfoliating and more water will make it gentler.

We recommend using this scrub on the body only. Facial skin is more delicate and needs a gentler exfoliant designed specifically for the face like our exfoliating face balm.
