Wholesale Ordering
How do I access wholesale pricing?
Wholesale pricing is available to approved wholesale accounts. Once an account is approved, the retailer can access wholesale pricing through the B2B portal. Resale on Amazon, Etsy, or other third-party marketplaces is not permitted.
What are the order minimums?
The opening wholesale order minimum is $300. Reorders have a $200 minimum. The minimum order quantity is three units per product or variant.
How is wholesale pricing calculated?
Standard wholesale pricing is 50% off the current Verv MSRP. Verv may change pricing and will do its best to provide approximately two months' advance notice of price changes.
- Gifts and bundles are excluded from standard wholesale pricing.
- Accessories and sample-size products have separate wholesale discount structures.
- Online sales and automatic discounts like BOGO pricing are not applicable to wholesale customers.
What retail price should stockists use?
Retailers should sell Verv products at the current Verv MSRP and not below it. Visit our website for most up to date pricing or reach out for a list. Occasional retailer sales are acceptable, but routine discounting or deep discounts are not permitted without prior approval.
Do Verv website promotions or loyalty rewards apply to wholesale orders?
No. Direct-to-customer website promotions, retail discount codes, free-shipping offers, and loyalty points or rewards do not apply to wholesale accounts.
What are the payment terms?
Approved wholesale accounts receive NET 30 payment terms. If an invoice becomes overdue, the account will be placed on hold and no additional orders will be fulfilled until the outstanding balance is paid. Repeated or significant late payments may result in loss of NET payment privileges.
Wholesale Shipping
How does wholesale shipping or local pick up work?
Wholesale customers are responsible for the actual cost of shipping. There is no free shipping or flat-rate shipping for wholesale orders. Verv accesses competitive carrier rates through Shopify and passes the applicable shipping cost on to the wholesale customer. Shipping costs vary based on order weight, package size, destination, and carrier rates.Â
Local pickup is available at no charge. If you’d like to time a pickup around your travel to the New Minas area, just let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate!Â
How long do wholesale orders take?
Typical wholesale turnaround is 2-4 weeks and may extend to up to 6 weeks during the peak holiday season. Retailers are encouraged to order sufficiently in advance, particularly for seasonal and holiday inventory.
What should I do about damages, shortages, or order errors?
Damaged products, shortages, and incorrectly shipped items should be reported within two weeks of receiving the shipment. Photos are required for damaged merchandise. For confirmed damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped merchandise, a credit equal to the wholesale value of the affected product will be applied to the retailer's account for future use.
Can wholesale merchandise be returned?
Wholesale purchases are final sale except in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped merchandise. Unsold or slow-moving inventory cannot be returned or exchanged. Approved product issues are handled through account credit rather than standard retail returns.
What happens if an ordered product is temporarily unavailable?
If a product is temporarily unavailable, Verv may hold the order for up to one week if the missing product can reasonably be produced within that period. Otherwise, the unavailable item will be removed from the order and the remainder of the order will ship.
Product Information
Shelf Life, Inventory Rotation & Testers
Every Verv product is marked with a production/batch code on the bottom of its packaging. Because formulations vary, recommended retail sell-through periods differ by product category. These are inventory-rotation guidelines rather than a statement that every product expires on a particular date.
How should stockists plan inventory?
Verv encourages wholesale partners to order conservatively when introducing new products and increase quantities once demand and sales patterns have been established. Smaller, more frequent reorders help keep inventory fresh and reduce the risk of products remaining on the shelf beyond their recommended sell-through period. When trying a new product, beginning with the minimum quantity is encouraged until its sales rate becomes predictable.
How should products be stored and rotated?
Retailers should use a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system, placing older inventory ahead of newer inventory. Products should be protected from excessive heat, direct sunlight, moisture, humidity, and other unsuitable conditions.
Once products are received with a reasonable sell-through period remaining, the retailer is responsible for appropriate storage and inventory rotation. Products that remain unsold beyond the recommended retail window are not considered defective solely due to age and are not eligible for return or credit on that basis.
Products shipped in summer months are subject to extreme heat so being available to receive shipments is critical.
Product Shelf Life & Reading the Batch Code
The batch code on the bottom of bottles, jars and boxes identifies the production sequence and date. For example, 1082426 means:
- 1 = first product/batch produced that day
- 08 = August
- 24 = 24th day of the month
- 26 = 2026
Therefore, 1082426 identifies the first product/batch produced on August 24, 2026. Retailers should use these codes when rotating inventory.
Please note our lip balms are too small for a batch code.
How should testers be maintained?
If you choose to purchase testers to provide for your customers, they should be inspected regularly and replaced periodically so they remain fresh and representative of the product being sold. Watch for unusual or faded colour, drying or changes in texture, or an off or rancid smell. Any tester showing signs of deterioration should be removed and replaced. Testers should also be stored and displayed appropriately and kept as clean as reasonably possible between customer uses. We recommend purchasing scoops or small wooden sticks for hygiene.Â
Fresh, appealing testers are an important part of the Verv retail experience. A tester is often a customer's first interaction with a product and can also reinforce a returning customer's decision to repurchase.
Retail Partner & Online Guidelines
Online & Social Media
Retailers are welcome and encouraged to feature Verv products on their website and social media channels. Feel free to photograph products in your own shop, create your own content, and tag Verv in posts and Stories. We love seeing our products in your space and will do our best to reshare and support retailer content when we’re tagged.
Verv Photography & Marketing Materials
Retail partners are welcome to use Verv-provided product photography, product descriptions and other available marketing assets to promote the Verv products they carry. We simply ask that these materials aren’t altered in a way that misrepresents the product or brand.
Product Information & Claims
When describing Verv products, we encourage retailers to use the product information and benefits provided by Verv. Our website product listings have lots of great detail and description you’re welcome to use! Please avoid adding medical, therapeutic or other product claims that aren’t included in our own materials.
Keeping Online Products Current
We encourage retailers to keep their online Verv selection reasonably current and remove discontinued products or listings once remaining inventory has sold.
Verv Stockist Directory
Active wholesale partners may be featured in the stockist directory on the Verv website, helping customers find Verv products in their area. To keep this directory useful and accurate, retailers who have not placed a wholesale order within the previous 12 months may be removed from the public stockist listing.
Representing the Partnership
Retailers are welcome to identify themselves as a Verv stockist or retail partner. Unless a separate arrangement has been made, retailers should not represent themselves as an exclusive Verv retailer, distributor, representative or agent.
Guided by Values, Driven by Care
At Verv Skin, everything we create starts with a clear purpose: to care deeply for your skin, your health, and the world around us. Our core values aren’t just words—they’re the guiding principles behind every formula, every package, and every conversation we have. We’re proud to share these beliefs with you, because we know that honest skincare starts with honest intentions.
1. Radical Transparency
We believe in being clear, honest, and real—with our ingredients, our claims, and our customers. That means full ingredient disclosure, no inflated promises, and skincare that speaks for itself. We share what we’ve learned openly and simply, helping you make informed choices without overwhelm or jargon. We don’t believe in fear-based marketing or hiding behind trends—we trust that truth and knowledge build long-term trust.
2. Authenticity, Always
As the founder of this business, I show up as I am—with care, curiosity, and honesty. That means real conversations with customers, genuine investment in improving what we create, and a refusal to pretend we have it all figured out. We celebrate natural beauty and real skin, not airbrushed ideals. No filters, no perfection—just a small business doing work that matters, with people who care deeply.
3. Health & Wellness First
I started this business because I was deeply concerned about the synthetic dyes, fragrances, and hormone-disrupting chemicals found in everyday personal care. As a trained formulator—and someone who’s experienced the impact of these ingredients firsthand—I choose every component with care. We don’t cut corners or follow trends to boost margins. Instead, we use only what we believe is safest and most effective for our bodies and the planet. That means no petroleum byproducts, harsh preservatives, or irritating surfactants—just clean, thoughtful ingredients that respect our health.
4. Inclusive Beauty for Every Body
We celebrate the full spectrum of natural beauty—across all ages, skin tones, and skin types. Our images feature real people, not airbrushed ideals, because everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in skincare. We’re proud to work with a diverse team and create products for all skin journeys, embracing authenticity over perfection.
5. Thoughtful Sustainability
We’re a small business committed to doing our part for the planet. While we don’t have all the answers yet, we prioritize recyclable and eco-friendly packaging, reuse materials when we can, and grow some botanicals organically. We also offer a glass jar return program to reduce waste. We believe honest, gradual progress is better than empty promises, and we’re always looking for new ways to improve.
