What is Monoi de Tahiti?

To make Monoï de Tahiti, the unopened blossoms of Tiare flowers (Tahitian Gardenia) are handpicked and then soaked in warm coconut oil to extract the precious, floral aroma through a process called Enfleurage (flower soaking). Used in religious, cosmetic and medicinal ways, this intoxicating perfume oil features prominently in Tahitian culture. Recent regulations to preserve the quality of production requires a minimum of 15 tiare flowers to be used in every liter of refined coconut oil.

Snow mushroom extract, sometimes compared to Hyaluronic Acid for its water binding properties, easily penetrates the skin's layers, forming a protective film of moisture that transforms rough and itchy skin into plump, soft skin. Tropical Kokum and shea butters are rich in fatty acids that lock in moisture and increase softness and elasticity.

    My hands are in heaven

    I love this product! My hands are very dry in the winter and this cream has helped after only a few night's use. I do wear cotton gloves as well - the smell is delicious.

    I have already enjoyed two hand treatments with this new overnight hand treatment. It is not heavy, greasy or oily - it has a lovely light and silky consistency. I used the cotton gloves as well, to keep the treatment were it should be, and I was very happy with the results.
